These Installation Terms & Conditions apply to all on-site installations carried out by RPM Power within the Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom. By confirming an installation appointment, you agree to the terms set out below.
Payment Terms & Conditions:
You will be required to pay a 30% deposit on your order to book an install date with our Team. Full payment of the order must be made at least 7 days in advance of the install date in order for the install to go ahead as planned. RPM Power reserves the right to postpone or cancel a pre-booked install date if payment is not received in full before this deadline.
Payments can be made over the phone with us, via payment link, via cheque, in cash or by way of bank transfer.
Pre-Install Requirements:
It is up to the customer to ensure the installation site is easily accessible and that equipment can safely be carried in and out of the premises. If the RPM Power Install Team do not deem a site safe upon arrival, then they have the right to refuse installation. In such cases a fee may be charged to the customer and the install may be rescheduled for a later date.
An installation site will only be deemed safe if the following criteria are met:
- Site Access: Customers must ensure clear and unrestricted access to the installation site. This includes the removal of obstacles such as furniture, personal items, or debris.
- Floor Condition: The floor must be level, sealed, clean, and free from dust or moisture, particularly if gym flooring is being installed.
- Parking: Please advise us in advance of any parking restrictions, permit requirements, or limited vehicle access. Additional charges may apply where special arrangements are needed.
- Difficult Access Notification: If your location involves stair-only access, narrow doorways, tight corners, or upper-floor delivery (regardless of lift access), this must be disclosed in advance.
Failure to notify RPM Power of any site restrictions may result in rescheduling and/or additional charges.
Point of Contact:
It is important that the person who placed the order—or a designated representative—is available on-site during the install to answer any questions or provide direction if needed.
This person may be required to:
- Provide access to the premises.
- Approve equipment placement.
- Sign the Customer Satisfaction Form on completion.
- Sign the optional Media Consent Form on completion.
- Address any queries from the RPM Power Installation Team during the process.
If the customer or the point of contact, is absent at any point during the install and our Team cannot get the required information on product installation or placement: RPM Power cannot accept any liability for products installed in the wrong position and we will not be liable to reposition products after the fact.
Scope of Installation:
Installations include the assembly and positioning of products as per your confirmed order. This includes the laying/ gluing of any gym flooring or drilling of wall-mounted/ floor mounted items purchased.
Items which do not require assembly (e.g., barbells, weight plates) will also be delivered on the day unless otherwise advised.
If certain products are out of stock, you will, for the most part, be informed at the time of payment and estimated delivery dates will be given for pre-order products. In the rare case where an item goes out of stock after payment has been received, you will be informed as soon as possible. These will be shipped to you separately upon arrival in our warehouse at no additional charge. For Multi-Gyms that are out of stock at the time of an install, RPM Power will schedule another install date to come back.
For large or heavy orders, we may arrange for pallet delivery to coincide with the install date. This is for safety reasons and to prevent the overloading of install vehicles. RPM Power will cover the cost of this delivery however please note that the customer will need to be present on site to accept the curbside pallet delivery. RPM Power bears no liability for pallets that are delivered in advance of an install whereby the customer is not present at the time of delivery. The customer is further responsible for ensuring the pallet is moved to a safe and secure location prior to RPM Power's arrival on-site.
The installation will be carried out by the RPM Power Installation Team. You will be provided with a short informational brochure on your install prior to the date. This will include the contact details of your personal install coordinator, whom you can contact directly with any questions you may have.
Waste Removal & Recycling:
RPM Power will remove all packaging and pallets after an install.
Delays & Cancellations:
- Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule your installation. Cancellations or postponements within 24 hours of your scheduled slot will incur a fee.
- RPM Power reserves the right to reschedule installations in certain circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, staff illness, vehicle breakdown, delays on pre-ordered stock).
Damage & Liability:
- Our installers take every precaution to ensure no damage occurs during installation. However, we recommend protecting vulnerable surfaces and informing us of any delicate areas in advance.
- RPM Power will not accept liability for minor cosmetic damage (e.g. scuff marks, paint scratches) where access is tight or unavoidably constrained unless caused by negligence.
- We hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance and Employers’ Liability Insurance in line with Irish regulations. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
Media Consent (Optional):
- We love showcasing the spaces we help bring to life. With your permission, our installation team may take photos or videos of your gym setup during or after the install. These may be used on our website, social media channels, or other marketing materials. If you're happy to be part of this, we'll provide a Media Consent Form for you to sign on the day. Participation is completely optional, and we’ll always respect your privacy and preferences.
Installation Aftercare:
Our Install Team will ask you to sign a Customer Satisfaction Form to confirm that you're happy with your new gym setup. After completion, our Team will review your new gym with you. If you identify any issues, such as missing components, missing order items or equipment concerns, please inform our Install Team immediately while they are still on-site; or contact our Customer Service Team within 48 hours after the installation.
Use of Equipment:
- Following installation, all equipment is ready for use unless otherwise advised. Even if a member of our Install Team goes over the functionality of a piece of equipment with you, it does not mitigate the need for you or other users to review the safety and maintenance manuals associated with the products. Please review the product manuals and safety guidelines prior to first use. RPM Power accepts no responsibility for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment post-installation.
- You can find some maintenance guidelines on the RPM Care website. It is fully the customers responsibility to adhere to the maintenance guidelines outlined on the RPM Power maintenance schedule.
- RPM Power reserves the right to refuse warranty claims caused by customer negligence in regards to safety and care of all equipment as further outlined in our General T&Cs.
